Artisterna är generösa - Bolagen gillar inte våra pengar

Jag blir SÅÅÅÅÅ trött. Efter att återigen försökt köpa musik… ni vet: betala för den - som det är meningen att man skall göra. Och fått nobben när jag skulle betala - den här gången av subpop.com.

WE ARE UNABLE TO SELL THE FOLLOWING ITEMS IN Sweden:

* Only With Laughter Can You Win / MP3 Zip File
* If Songs Could Be Held / MP3 Zip File
* The Shepherd’s Dog / MP3 Zip File

… Jag gissar att det är någon där ute som tror sig kunna förklara detta - Om jag VILL köpa musik men får nobben hela tiden hur skall jag göra då? Om jag skall vara ärlig så har jag två av dessa skivor redan - i piratade kopior. Nu ville jag betala. Men det fick jag inte. Jag kan säga som så - det finns ingen som helst anledning att ha dåligt samvete när man laddar ner - va’fan de tackar bokstavligen nej till pengarna som man erbjuder dem.

Skivorna jag inte fick betala för:

Vet ni vad som när nästan djävligast av allt? Det är att artisterna är generösa och delar ut sin musik som mp3:or via subpop:s sajt. Sen får vi inte köpa… fy fan.

Hetlänkat från subpop. Hur ni skall göra för att köpa albumen om ni gillar vad ni hör? Inte den blekaste aning… Men man kan ju alltid ladda ner.

Just det… jag skrev ett mail till Subpop.

Dear websales@subpop.com,

Why aren’t you able to sell mp3-files to Sweden? Are our money no good? If you prick us do we not bleed? If you tickle us do we not laugh?

Jag fick faktiskt svar på mitt mail. Så har svarar Sam på SubPop:

Hi Kristofer,

Americans do in fact believe that Swedes do not bleed.

That being said, I don’t think we legally can sell MP3 files outside of North America at this moment. This is something that we are definitely working on. Sorry!
